Bridging The Gap
Between People & Things

Cognitive Systems is a technology venture funded by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and owned by The Agents Group. It was established to commercialize advanced video analytics and cognitive artificial intelligence technologies rooted in distributed, agent-based architectures.

With early-stage TIA support, the company developed minimum viable products focused on real-time video processing, anomaly detection, and adaptive decision systems. These solutions were designed for deployment in security, compliance, and environmental monitoring environments.

Cognitive Systems bridges research and commercialization, transforming cognitive computing innovations into scalable, market-ready platforms that enable intelligent automation across complex, data-rich operational ecosystems.

We believe

in “boosting mankind’s capability for coping with complex, urgent problems.” (Engelbart)

Our Artificial Mind Engine can tap into and make sense of large data streams (in-stream) to harvest key insights that cannot immediately be detected by the human senses.
We give you just-in-time knowledge for smarter decisions and proactive responses to opportunities and threats.

We follow the philosophy

…of the Human Augmentation Project of early computer and Internet pioneer, Douglas Engelbart, whose goal was to bridge the gap between man and machine, and to achieve Collective Intelligence of Humans and Things.

Our Technology

…continuously learns and improves risk models.
…understands questions and combinations of questions posed in natural language.
…applies Bayesian machine learning technologies in real time.

“The key thing about all the world’s big problems is that they have to be dealt with collectively. If we don’t get collectively smarter, we’re doomed.” – Douglas Engelbart
